A young woman named Katherine Alden becomes the unwanted victim of her new handsome next door neighbor Caleb, after her and her husband and son moves to a new town for a fresh start from a robbery. Caleb becomes so obsessed with Katherine and her son Sam that he plans to write and illustrate a children's book based on Katherine and her husband and son Sam. After Katherine's annoying new friend Brianne sees a bad side of Caleb, Katherine soon realizes that Caleb isn't the charming and caring next door neighbor that he claims to be.
